Recommendation engines are critical in today’s ecommerce sector. They dramatically increase sales while simultaneously improving the customer shopping experience by helping customers quickly identify and locate the most relevant items. Implementing such a recommendation engine in production, however, can be a very expensive and time-consuming process. Neo4j was used as a key part of the solution architecture that made this launch possible.
